About Ruff Budget

Ruff Budget is run by a veteran dog dad who has spent an unreasonable amount of time (and an even less reasonable amount of money) on dog stuff.

The idea is simple: find the fun, giftable, weird-but-useful dog products worth knowing about, write about them honestly, and help other dog parents on a budget decide what's worth it and what's just funny to look at. Sometimes it's both.

We don't invent reviews, ratings or prices. If a thing is on here, it's because it made us laugh, solved a real dog-parent problem, or both. Links may earn us a small commission (here's how that works), which helps keep the lights on and the treat jar full.

Coming soon: Ruff Budget Originals, our own dog designs and a K9 line.
